Holistic psychotherapy
Remote, holistic psychotherapy sessions for individuals and couples available now.
Drawing on somatic and narrative therapy approaches, I’ll walk the edges of life with you. I’ll hold space, guide, and sometimes teach. My intention is to listen deeply, trusting the wisdom that arises when we are present with one another. Often the most difficult seasons in life are preparing us for the most beautiful times ahead. However, this is not work we need to do alone.
In a society that promotes individualism, I’m passionate about contributing to the repair of our sense of connection; to ourselves, each other and the world around us. Connection truly is a balm like no other. If you are struggling with culture in this late stage capitalism and haven’t found a therapist that really “gets it” please get in touch to find out more, including about payment options and concession rates.
What is holistic psychotherapy?
To me, holistic therapy means supporting you to get real, not to fix or tell you what to do. I’m deeply moved by the courage it takes to ask for help and I will meet you there with reverence and care.
Psychotherapy is a practice that works deeply on all levels, working with the whole of us, including our various parts and the stories we hold. The focus I have is on identifying and ultimately meeting unmet needs by the process of digesting the stored emotional distress that’s been stored.

Poetry performance and guest speaking
Poetry has the capacity to turn despair into art and discrimination into advocacy and it’s why I believe poetry belongs in mental health.
I performed at Conferences, for Mental Health agencies and in 2025 qualified for the APS state finals in Sydney.
My poetry demonstrates the power of story-telling and emphasizes the significance of creativity in improving well-being.
Testimonial:
“We booked Amber to come and speak to our team at our staff day and show us some spoken word. Amber nailed the brief and delivered a beautiful piece on point with the theme for the day. It was so good to be reminded the power and beauty of words and how words can be used to lift people up and evoke emotion”

“Unused creativity is not benign. It metastasizes. It turns to grief, rage, judgement, sorrow, shame.”
Community Services Consulting
“People are flowers of their environment. To solve the problem of human difference we need to look at nature.”
Testimonial:
“For me working with Amber on a particularly important youth consultation project was an incredibly positive experience. Ambers ability to create a safe and welcoming space for broad range of different young people is truly remarkable, allowing for genuine and open conversations to elevate their voices and help inform important change. Amber is deeply reflective, considerate, and insightful, especially when navigating sensitive topics and life experiences. Their thoughtful approach fosters trust and ensures that these discussions not only empower people with lived experience but also lead to meaningful improvements in programs/communities . Amber’s is someone that is dedication to and highly skilled in creating positive change.”
